IMHO, it’s the best X-Men related show ever on TV, at least as far as they’ve gotten 3 episodes in. I’m really enjoying it a lot. Some of that may be a reaction to how hopelessly bad Inhumans is, but I think they are really capturing the “Trapped in a world that hates them” vibe, while capturing some of the exhilaration and joy of being able to blow shit up with light beams from your hands.

I think I agree with everything you said here, but especially the "Trapped in a world that hates them" vibe. That is on full display here.

Are you including Legion when talking about the best X-Men related show ever? I think that's the only one I'd put over this.

I loved Legion, but it really doesn't have a true X-Men vibe to me. Not like Gifted. Their powers weren't all that fun, y'know?

I loved Legion and especially the feel of the show. But I did find it hard to get through sometimes especially when binge watching. Mostly due to the dark themes and imagery that they used for the darker psyche of David's head. It was a very emotionally draining show I found that I'd have to take a break after one episode before diving into the next one.

Marvel's New Warriors series (AKA The One With Squirrel Girl) will not air on Freeform as previously intended. Speculation is that it might get tossed onto Disney's upcoming streaming service, but that is still two years off, making it less likely.

The trailers I have seen for Runaways makes it look promising. Much better than the mess Cloak and Dagger seems to be from what they've shown so far.

Well I finally saw the first two episodes of Inhumans and whilst I didn't mind it that much. One thing that bothered me was Medusa's ridiculous CGI hair. Not because of that was the only way to do it, but did they need to have it CGI in every scene featuring it?

Also for those bothered about the series and any points made regarding spoilers..
Spoiler!
I hope Maximus is only pretending he doesn't have a power and that he's merely lying because it serves his goals.

So I'm about 7 episodes into Punisher and its pretty good, but different from the other Marvel/Netflix shows. For one thing its production values involve better lighting design, so that's nice.

More when I get finished.

Yeah, that was pretty amazing. Is it me, or did the dialogue get a lot punchier too?

No, it was tight. A whole lot smarter than the Framework section of last season.

Yeah, I actually really liked last season, especially the LMD stuff, and I thought the guy who played Fitz deserved an award of some sort. But this season premiere really leveled the show up.
