Meanwhile, a new Inhumans trailer dropped yesterday (I think) Some of the CGI still looks a little cartoon=y to me, but Medusa's hair looks better... until she seems to get it cut off?!?! WTF?

Agreed. I think The Hand looked more incompetent in this than we've ever seen them.
I think it started in Iron Fist where Hand operatives were changed to regular thugs and more so in Defenders. They deviated loads from the heartbeat masking highly efficient assassins that they had been in Daredevil.

Presumably, that was just the Japanese branch of the Hand.

Marvel's Inhumans

OK, its got a lot wrong going on here, no question, but its not as bad as the reviews made out. There are some really weak performances, some dreadful writing. and some really sub-par effects, but it wasn't all the way bad. I'll say it exceeded expectations, and so earns another chance.

So, I like the overall idea of Inhumans without liking any of the characters except Maximus so far. Should they all be this behind on how a different society works?

Well Inhumans starts over here very soon so that's something else to watch through the week. Damn TV shows all starting at the same time of year.

2 episodes in, I'm about ready to give up on Inhumans.

Apparently The Gifted started on Fox in the UK about three weeks ago so I've some catching up to do. Watched the first episode thus far and really enjoyed it. Whilst I'm not the biggest fan of the X-Men I was glad to be able to know who the kids were largely thanks to Thunderbolts and recognised most of the Mutant underground members.

Though the light beams guy had myself guessing everyone from Chamber to Sunspot until I looked it up and found he was a new character but inspired by others.

It started here around the same time I think. Either way, I've also been watching it and I think it's...pretty good. Certainly enjoyable and I'm going to continue watching it, but I can't help but think that it's missing something.

IMHO, it’s the best X-Men related show ever on TV, at least as far as they’ve gotten 3 episodes in. I’m really enjoying it a lot. Some of that may be a reaction to how hopelessly bad Inhumans is, but I think they are really capturing the “Trapped in a world that hates them” vibe, while capturing some of the exhilaration and joy of being able to blow shit up with light beams from your hands.
